Pricing

The ROCK STAR can legally carry 28 passengers, however we limit our Walk On Charters to 10 passengers to give every angler adequate opportunity to catch fish!

• ALL RODS, BAIT, TACKLE, LICENSE, ICE, & FISHING FILLETING IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE.
• ALL THE FISH CAUGHT ARE FILETED AND DIVIDED EQUALLY AMONGST EVERYONE ON THE BOAT AT THE END OF THE TRIP.    OUR GOAL IS SIMPLY TO ENSURE THAT EVERY CUSTOMER TAKES HOME SOME FISH!  WE FILET THE ENTIRE CATCH. YOU MAY NOT TAKE WHOLE FISH HOME OR HAVE THEM CLEANED ANY OTHER WAY.  IN THE CHAOS OF CATCHING FISH, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP TRACK OF WHO CAUGHT WHAT FISH AND IT IS UNNECESSARILY BURDENSOME TO CLEAN A COOLER FULL OF FISH 6 DIFFERENT WAYS. IF THAT DOES  NOT WORK FOR YOU, PLEASE BOOK A Private Charter AND YOU MAY DO WHAT YOU PLEASE WITH YOUR CATCH. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.
• ALL FISH THAT ARE KEPT WILL BE KEPT IN OUR FISH COOLER DURING THE TRIP.
• WE DO NOT DO BOTTOM FISHING ON WALK-ON CHARTERS.
• YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY FOR EACH PERSON YOU BOOK FOR REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY SHOW UP OR NOT. 

Cancellations:

*If you CANCEL your reservation within (48) hours of the trip, fail to show up, or you arrive after the boat leaves, you will forfeit the amount you paid for your ticket(s) REGARDLESS OF THE REASON FOR CANCELLATION!  

*If you make a reservation for more than just yourself, you are responsible to pay for the ticket(s) for each person you reserved for, regardless of whether or not they show up!

*Weather cancellations are left solely to the discretion of the captain. We fish rain or shine. Please do not contact the captain about the weather...IF the captain deems the weather is unsafe, we will notify YOU that the trip is canceled and provide you with a credit or refund.

*If you cancel within 48 hours of your trip you WILL NOT be given a refund, raincheck, or credit regardless of the reason for canceling! 

*If you cancel PRIOR to 48 hours before the trip, you will receive a credit of the ticket amount to use on a future service with LJK Outdoors. Credits are usable for one year from the original purchase date. Once you purchase a ticket you will not be given a refund unless LJK Outdoors has to cancel the trip.

*Please arrive at the boat at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. If you are late, we WILL NOT WAIT!  If you arrive for the 7:00am trip at 7:00am, you will be on time to watch the boat leave without you on it...no exceptions!!!  If you are standing on the dock or are in the parking lot at 7:00am instead of on the boat, we will leave you there.   Traffic and car accidents happen so please plan your travel accordingly. Do not bother calling to let the captain know you will be there at 7:01am for a trip scheduled at 7:00am. Be on the boat prior to departure time because we are not going to wait for you. IF YOU MISS THE BOAT YOUR MONEY IS FORFEITED. You will NOT be given a credit or refund of any type...NO EXCEPTIONS! 

Additional Details...

*The minimum age is 4 years old.  We cannot take anyone under the age of 4 per USCG regulations. 

*The price is the SAME for ALL ages.

*We don't accept Cash App as a form of payment.

*You may smoke tobacco products on the deck of the boat. However, please be respectful of other customers.  NO SMOKING in the cabin or head. If you smoke, DO NOT place smoking devices on or put them out on any part of the boat. Doing so will damage the paint and/or fiberglass. If you do, you will be charged a minimum of $600 for the repairs.  Ashtrays are available if you need one.

*The head (toilet) on our boat is NOT like a household toilet. It will only handle human waste. DO NOT place anything other than natural human waste in the toilet.  Other foreign objects such as excessive toilet paper, tampons, food wrappers, paper towels, condoms, plastic, rubber, etc. must be placed in the trash can next to the toilet. If you damage the toilet you will be billed for repairs or replacement.

*NO MORE than ONE cooler per person.  For space reasons, MAX size is 48qt. Preserve space on the boat...please do not bring an excessive amount of gear.

*We must get a MINIMUM of 6 people signed up for the trip to sail. If we do not meet the minimum number of people we will cancel the trip and a refund or credit will be issued.

*We are located at Beacon Marina next to the Quality Inn at ""Dock A.""  Address is 255 Lore Rd., Solomons, Md.  Directions and a map can be obtained on the Contact page.

*The name of the boat is Rock Star.

*Tipping the first mate is NOT OPTIONAL. Industry standard is 20% of your ticket price (20% of $145 is $28). Tipping the mate is expected even if you do not ask for his help during the trip.  Ignoring the mate is no excuse to not tip!  Our first mate will be courteous and work VERY hard!  Failing to tip the mate SHALL result in you not being allowed back on the boat in the future. I bet you don't go to work for free and neither do our first mates! If you are unhappy with the service the mate provides, please privately let the captain know after the trip and we will take corrective action to improve future experiences.

​*The consumption of alcohol is allowed but not advised and DRUNKS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!  If you get drunk we are required per the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations maritime law, to bring you back to the dock and notify law enforcement as well as the U.S. Coast Guard (We don't write the laws, we just follow them).  Also, your money shall not be refunded for the fishing trip.  We recommend that you DO NOT drink due to the inherent safety risks associated with the consumption of alcohol.  However, if you feel the need to drink we expect that you do so responsibly. If you get belligerent or pose a safety risk to yourself, the crew, passengers, or our property WE WILL PHYSICALLY DETAIN/RESTRAIN YOU for the safety of everyone onboard and we will contact law enforcement. Safety is our top priority.

*ZERO TOLERANCE FOR NARCOTICS/DRUGS!  That includes any and all Cannabis or Marijuana (medical or otherwise) products!  Marijuana is still illegal Federally and we are governed by Federal law while on navigable waters. If you possess OR use narcotics/drugs while aboard our vessels, we will contact law enforcement and return to the dock immediately.  You WILL NOT be given a refund. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!  WE ARE NOT  ""420"" FRIENDLY ON THE ROCK STAR...feel free contact your US Congressman if you would like to change the law!!!!

*ABSOLUTELY NO BANANAS (i.e. the fruit)!  THE POSSESSION OF BANANAS ONBOARD OUR VESSELS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED! Bananas are extremely bad luck on boats. If you bring them, I will throw them overboard...not joking.

***Any violations of the terms and conditions resulting in injury to any person(s), damage to LJK Outdoors, LLC's reputation or ability to operate, or damage to LJK Outdoors, LLC.’s property, will result in the violating party being billed accordingly and/or proper legal action being taken against the violator.  Refusal to comply with the terms and conditions will result in the refusing party being denied services at the time of refusal and in the future.  By making a reservation, booking a trip, attending any type of trip, and/or conducting any business or exchange of money with LJK Outdoors, you are agreeing to abide by the aforementioned terms and conditions and fully understand them.  It is the responsibility of the booking party or person(s) to ask any questions in reference to the Terms and Conditions prior to booking, reserving, attending, or exchanging money with LJK Outdoors, LLC.***
